Summary in Photos

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

June and July have flown by, filled summer with days of weather in the 80s, hikes up Goodnow and Chimney, firework displays and Nelson’s faithful cannon, calico kittens squeezed by small children, boat trips, thunderstorms, rainbows, great food and wonderful people.
Here is a brief summary in photos of our year so far.

Whether you’ve already been here, or are looking forward to your visit later in the summer, we can’t wait to see you enjoy all of the small moments of a Timberlock summer.

Beginnings

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

We always look forward to the season opening and the move over to Timberlock but it sure is tough getting there. The list is long of things to do before leaving and seems to grow daily. Trailer the equipment over, load the new cabin panels and rafters on the trailer, have the horses trimmed and moved to pasture till it’s time to bring them over, pack the shop tools, sort the office files, make a lumber order, check with the chef about menus for the work weekend…and don’t forget to pick up the kids after practice and oh yes…remember to write something clever for the blog. Yes, it’s true we have a blog, or web log, from which the name was contracted. We step a bit reluctantly into the blogging world but hope it proves useful for attracting new families and engaging past guests.
